Namit Baikar is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS). With over 19 years of progressive experience in Aviation, Manufacturing, Retail and Logistics across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, Mr. Baikar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Human Resource Management. He has spent over 5.5 years with SATS as Head of Human Capital, India leading all matters pertaining to HR across SATS’ subsidiaries & JV companies in India and HC Business Partner for Global Operations, Food Solutions.
Before joining SATS, Mr. Baikar led the HR function to establish and implement market entry and distribution network strategy for IKEA in India and APAC. His key contributions have been in formulating People Strategy, Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development and Compliance. After successfully completing APAC Business Development Leadership Program, he moved into a business role to set up IKEA’s first Dark Store and lead the Fulfilment Team to launch E-commerce.
Early in his career Mr. Baikar spent 8 years with MAERSK across South Asia and Middle East performing roles in Business Partnering, Talent Management, Change Management, and Industrial Relations. In addition, he was an OPEX Navigator with McKinsey & Co. during the global ‘Operational Excellence’ rollout in MAERSK.
Mr. Baikar holds a master’s degree in human resources, is a certified leadership coach and Six Sigma Green Belt holder. A sports enthusiast, he is an active speaker and panellist in different forums as well as associated with various management institutes to guide and help students prepare for the corporate world.
