Mr. Nipun Aggarwal is Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer & Transformation Officer. He joined the company in January 2022, following his pivotal role in leading the acquisition of Air India for Tata Sons. Aggarwal helps shape and guide the business strategy across the airline and has been instrumental in driving commercial successes of the enterprise since Tata Sons took over Air India. In this capacity, he oversees several functions, including aircraft acquisition and financing, strategic procurement, product development, network planning, alliances & partnerships, revenue management, Flying Returns loyalty programme, sales, and marketing, among others. He spearheaded the team that secured record-setting aircraft and engine purchase deals with OEMs, significantly bolstering Air India's future fleet. His strategic vision extends to cost leadership, with several key contracts negotiated and entered under his direction, putting the airline on a path to financial efficiency. This focus on commercial success and operational excellence is built upon Aggarwal's extensive experience. He brings over 30 years across diverse industries, with a proven track record in corporate finance, M&A, strategy, and business development. Prior to Air India, Aggarwal served as Senior Vice President at Tata Sons, where he played a key role in transforming multiple Tata companies. He has also previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered Bank, and BP PLC. His leadership extends beyond Air India, as he currently chairs Air India SATS Airport Services and holds board positions at Air India Express, AIX Connect, and Talace Private Limited. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.
Mr. Sanjay Sharma, has over three decades of experience in Real Estate/ Infrastructure sector, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Before joining Air India he was Chief Financial Officer of Tata Projects Limited where he played a significant role in providing stability to the Finance function, formation of the Finance Risk Organisation, streamlining the governance mechanism, significant contribution to the transformation exercise and meeting the capital requirement of the company. Prior to this he was CFO of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, responsible for Finance (Accounts, Financial Control, Treasury and Tax), Procurement, IT and Internal Audit functions and oversight over the infrastructure vertical. Other stints include Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank Group for 11 years and in various capacities at DSP Merrill Lynch Limited in Mumbai and Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific in Hong Kong for 14 years. He has to his credit managing over 150 transactions worth over US$ 50bn in equity raising for Indian corporates both on Indian and International stock markets. He started his career as an engineer in the Design Department (Heat Exchanger and Pressure Vessels) with Larsen and Toubro Limited for two years. He has been associated with various industry bodies in the past, including being a member of the Primary Market Advisory Committee of SEBI, a member of Capital Markets Committee of FICCI and CII and Chairman, Vice Chairman and Director of Association of Investment Bankers of India (AIBI). Sanjay is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a mechanical engineer from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal.
Mr. Rajesh Dogra is a Tata veteran and is the Chief Customer Experience Officer & Global Head of Airport Operations at Air India. Mr. Dogra comes with diverse global experience of incubating and executing hyper scale, IT - enabled, operations - driven public services delivery and large transformation programs. He is widely known in the industry for his contribution in transforming passport services for the Govt of India as the Global Program Director of Passport Seva Program of Ministry of External Affairs in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services [TCS]. In his current role, Mr. Dogra is spearheading several initiatives at Air India across the global network focusing on customer experience and airport operations transformation which have started reflecting early results.
Mr. Bob is the Chief Executive Officer, Gateway Services of SATS, and joined the company in August 1988. Prior to this appointment, he was the Chief Operating Officer, Gateway Services of SATS. Mr. Bob has held other executive and managerial positions in SATS. He was the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Gateway Services where he was responsible for airline network marketing and the management of key accounts and ground handling contracts in Singapore. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of SATS-Creuers Cruise Services Pte. Ltd., where he was responsible for the management of the cruise terminal at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore. Mr. Bob has also served in various capacities in cargo, marketing as well as catering services. He was instrumental in setting up SATS Asia-Pacific Star Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SATS which provides ground handling and inflight catering services to low-cost carriers at Singapore Changi Airport. Mr. Bob holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Leicester University and graduated as a Public Services Scholar from the National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Mr. Seah joined SATS as Chief Financial Officer in September 2017. He oversees the group's finance operations, strategic investment management and monitoring, group treasury, insurance and investor relations. Mr. Seah has over 25 years of investment banking, direct investments and financial management experience. He has held senior leadership roles in corporate finance and investment management, and has conducted corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions activities in Asia. Before joining SATS, Mr. Seah was the Chief Financial Officer of SMRT Corporation Ltd, where he was primarily responsible for driving changes to the business and financing structure of the Group. At SMRT, Mr. Seah led a special task force that developed and facilitated the transition of SMRT Trains Limited to the new rail financing framework, and managed the subsequent privatization of SMRT by Temasek Holdings in 2016. Mr. Seah sits on various Boards of SATS' subsidiaries and associate companies. Mr. Seah graduated with Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Mathematics from Queen Mary College, University of London and obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration from the London Business School. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London, UK, and has been conferred an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance (CF) and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
Mr. Siraj Chaudhry is a seasoned business leader with 34 years of experience, out of which 20 years were spent in leadership positions in the agriculture and food industry. He possesses strong leadership qualities and is an industry expert, thought leader, innovator, and a prominent voice in the agriculture and food industry. He currently serves as the Country Chairman for SATS India and until recently he was the Chairman for National Commodity Management Ltd. In his previous role as the MD & CEO of NCML, Siraj led the organization through a transformation journey and expanded the company's footprint across the country as a trusted agri-supply chain and solutions partner. Mr. Siraj's notable accomplishments include leading the build and expansion of Cargill's food business in India as the Chairman of Cargill India. He transformed the traditional B2B business into an FMCG company and pioneered edible oil fortification as a practice. Serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of several companies, including Tata Consumers Products Ltd., Dhanuka Agritech, and Carrier Air Conditioning and Refrigeration India, among others. Mr. Siraj is actively involved in various trade bodies and industry associations, and his contributions to the agriculture and food industry have been recognized with numerous awards and recognitions. He has also been involved in the social sector, being a founding member of United Way, Delhi, and India Foodbank. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and is a B.Com (Hons) graduate from the University of Delhi's Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Mr. Sanjay Gupta holds a degree of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has more than 25 Years of experience in the field of Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Treasury Management, Taxation, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Project Management & IT Management. On February 2011, he joined AISATS as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and with effect from 16th December 2021, he holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AISATS. As the CEO, he is responsible for the overall management of AISATS with the objective of value creation for all its stakeholders. Mr. Gupta is driving the agenda of innovation, digitization, and technology adoption in the organization. He presently reports to the board and provides executive leadership & direction to the operating units. Mr. Gupta is also focused on implementing lean structure, increasing productivity, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the organization’s fiscal sustainability. Following high standards of moral standards, he ensures that integrity is maintained in the organization at all times.
Mr. Pankaj Jaiswal, FCA, DIIT has over 20 years of professional experience. Prior to joining AISATS in April 2022, he served as the group finance controller of a group company with plants and business units spread across India. As a seasoned finance professional, Mr. Jaiswal has a wide range of experience, including shareholder value creation, ESG, business partnering, treasury & funding, investor relations, cost management, taxation, financial planning, accounting & reporting, as well as budgeting and management. In a career spanning 2 decades he has managed and led the finance function for various large business groups in India. As CFO of AISATS, Mr. Jaiswal is a part of the executive committee and is focused on business and financial strategy of the company, key decision support, risk and finance management, funding, investment, banking relations, budgeting, participating in future growth plans, looking at the continuous process improvement in finance and accounts of the organization.
Mr. Bobban Jose is currently the Chief Operations Officer at AISATS. As Head of Operations, he is responsible for managing the comprehensive Ground & Cargo Handling Operations of all the AISATS locations. A postgraduate in International Business, Mr. Jose started his career in the field of aviation with Jet Airways Cargo in 2003. For ten years he was with Singapore Airlines Cargo and became Head - Sales & Services for Karnataka, Hyderabad & Cochin. In September 2015, he joined AISATS as Vice President – Cargo Projects at Bangalore. His 19 years of professional experience is spread across areas of Station Management, Ground & Cargo Operational Management and Business Development & Sales.
